Javid Javidan, M.D.
Dr. Javidan attended Chicago Medical School for his medical education. After six years of training in Urology, he completed his fellowship in Urological Oncology at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Javidan moved to Sacramento in 2003. Over the years, he has developed a thriving Urological Oncology practice in the greater Sacramento region. He currently serves as the Chief of Urology for Mercy San Juan Medical Center and the Medical Director of Urological Oncology at Mercy San Juan Medical Center. Dr. Javidan treats a wide variety of urological conditions but maintains a passion for the treatment of urological malignancies such as prostate cancer, kidney cancer, and bladder cancer.
Dr. Javidan enjoys educating his patients as well as learning from them. He finds that the extra time spent with each individual helps to ensure better understanding and compliance. He believes that every person is unique, and therefore, takes a special interest in tailoring his treatment of each individual patient utilizing a multidisciplinary approach. In his spare time, he enjoys downhill skiing, traveling, gardening, and reading.
